In my job, one of the problems that you must solve, is which ways the best way to send the photo print to another place (country, city, and so on). The couriers normally don’t have absolutely care of your photo box, so they can damage the print or the passpartout.
Last year I sent the photos for my exhibit in London, in a big “paper box” with tones of “pluriball”, I wrote “fragile” everywhere on the box. I spoke with the carrier about the photos, and ask every attentions on this box….
but….when I had open the box in London, before the set up of the Exhibit, I found some of the print damaged,
was really a not happy moment…
This year for the exhibit at THE UK DRUM SHOW, in Manchester, i’m trying the a new way, i’m using this wood box, it’s to heavy (23kg) but i’m trying to be sure that my photos will arrive in Manchester without problems… next time i’ll have a lighter and safe new box.
